"The class was very informative but very fast paced especially for those with no background in computer science. There was a variety of people's backgrounds on the subjects and it was definitely a ton of work but fun if understood. To stay on top of understanding everything it will take a few hours a day of practice and the lectures didn't add too much to what you had to do on your own. The lab days were fun but very hard to do without understanding the material and one person taking the lead of the group."

Teaching: Lecture, Lab
Reading (pages/week): 10-15 pages
Homework (hours/week): supposedly 5-10, but more like 10-15 because the exercises of the day were so difficult
Exams: 2

"This course is a very dense introductory course. It covers A LOT of material. Be prepared to spend many hours per week on the work, especially if you have no experience with coding. "

"The professor gave a lot of information, and insisted constantly on a lot of outside practice. Not bad in itself, but the difficulty of practice questions inside the class/lab was vastly lower from weekly homework assignments. Very nice professor, just a tough intro class."
