"While this was a class where I received a comprehensive overview of the field of environmental science, it did not feel like an Amherst class. The class barely challenged me to think for myself. I would not recommend taking this class with this professor because she was very awkward every time we spoke. I was very interested in Environmental Science prior to taking this class and then when I had an issue or a question, it felt like the professor didn't really care if I learned anything or understood it; she kind of just recalled what she knew. My main complaint is there were so many little assignments that were so difficult to keep up with, and none of them really helped me grow as a student or gave me new skills."
