"Professor Rasheed is known for accessibility in office hours, regardless of the level of understanding of material. Offers feedback for students not struggling to further improve their mathematical rigor, and makes it very easy for those not grasping the material the first time by explaining in creative ways, and working with practice and demonstration. To be a truly captivating lecturer is a rare skill, and even rarer to be such a skilled professor to motivative a large percentage of his students to consider further studies in mathematics. Overall one of the best professors at Amherst, and makes any class he teaches a treat."

"Professor Rasheed gives helpful feedback and will go over any test problems you get wrong in office hours. I had to do most homework/problem sets in office hours as I had questions about how to apply the material from lecture to the homework problems."

Homework (hours/week): 2 problem sets with 5 questions each per week, which is really short.
Exams: I think 3 midterms plus a final exam. Grading extremely lenient

"Very engaging and knowledgeable lecturer, fast paced (seems to be the nature of the class) He explains why things are the way they are so students can build their geometric and conceptual understanding of calculus instead of simply memorizing formulas Midterms were incredibly easy Lots of office hours"
