Good for non-majors? Yes
Teaching: Lecture, Small group discussion
Reading (pages/week): Typically 1 chapter from the textbook every week(ish). The reading would take about 10 minutes at most (they were online so no page number).
Homework (hours/week): About 1 to 2 hours of homework. Almost every week there is a short assignment that covers the textbook chapter and then a longer homework assignment. If you are fast you can probably get it done in under an hour.
Essays: No essays. Only projects with written components.
Exams: Only one midterm that was uncurved.
"There is a lot of R coding in this class so be ready for that. There are a lot of projects where you can do whatever you are interested in so the class is really what you make of it."
