Reading (pages/week): Came in bursts; every new play we started required about 300 pages in under a week, but beyond that the readings every week were light (30-70).

"Essay assignments were strange --- you don't really write "standard" academic essays and instead will use the essay format in strange ways (an essay, say, on imagining a play as a planet...)."
