"Professor Dole is very nice and clearly knowledgeable about his subject. He especially shines in his knowledge of medical anthropology. However, I found that I had left the class without learning as much as I had wanted. Intro is admittedly very broad. Assignments were straightforward, and feedback was helpful, though due to class size, the final had very little feedback. He is also quite helpful for working out ideas during office hours. "

"300-level course but very welcoming for people who don't have a lot of experience in anthropology. "
