"This seminar met once a week and only had only six people in it, so we all got super close and really matched each other's intellectual energy. The first half of the class was purely lecture to contextualize the reading. The second half was more discussion-based, where two students beforehand would be assigned to bring three discussion questions to class and help direct the reading and conversation. Students also had to give presentations on specific chapters of the book twice the semester. The final essay was a final question about either of the two authors (Foucault or Latour) that you had about two weeks to write. Professor asks questions and there are, in fact, correct answers. Sometimes the class would spend ten minutes just shouting out answers, trying to get closer to the right one, which was honestly quite fun. The most intellectually challenging class I've ever taken (made me rethink what science is) and it was extremely worth."
