Teaching: Small group discussion, Peer assessment and review, one-one talking to teacher
Reading (pages/week): Two times of reading content per week (2 blocks), 1 day practice, 1 day assessment. In total, reading the grammar book was as long as 5 pages, and the workbook maximum 10 pages.
Homework (hours/week): 2-6 hours.
Essays: Writing assigments, around every other 2 week. 1 paragraph long.
Exams: 3 reading and speaking exams. None test on writing skills.

"Very nice and patient professors. Eager to teach their students and are flexible with their time and skills. Even though only Japanese is encouraged in class, they allow some english to solve any confusion. Study a bit on your own time, and that will be enough. Do not cram."
