Teaching: Lecture
Reading (pages/week): 1-2 chapters per week as supplemental material (all covered in lecture I would only recommend doing if you are confused on a certain topic)
Homework (hours/week): 3-4 for problem sets
Essays: 0
Exams: 4 & no they were not curved

"Professor Benedetto is great. Made lectures engaging (even if there were pretty fast-paced) and the exams were all very reasonable. Do the practice exams and attend office hours if you are confused on the problem sets and you will do well in the class."

"Prof Benedetto was very nice and lectures are engaging, but get ready to do at least double the work of any other 300-level math class. Much of the work he assigns is just busywork you don't actually need to do to understand the material, such as mandatory videos and readings that just repeat the lecture material, but are graded for completion. In addition, he assigns 2 full-length problem sets a week. He's very nitpicky grading the psets and take-home final, but much less picky on the in-class exams. The grade cutoffs were very unclear. "
