"There is no doubt that Tekla is very passionate about rocks and makes it interesting even to a non-major. Her teaching style involved a lecture for the first hour of class, followed by a mini-lab focused on application. Quizzes were given at the end of each week, and a final project that described the geology of a national park required a presentation and a report. "
