"If you are curious about geology, this is a great intro course. You do have to put in some work but the course is very rewarding. It is so cool learning about geology and then being able to go on field trips during lab to see what we learned about in the real world. The final project, making a geologic map is not easy but really cool."

Her teaching style involved a lecture for the first hour of class, followed by a mini-lab focused on application. Quizzes were given at the end of each week, and a final project that described the geology of a national park required a presentation and a report. "
