"Both professors had different grading criteria, which they never explicitly tell you. Harsh essay and participation graders. Vague grading criteria and justifications for grading. Please avoid if this is your first FAMS class --- this class steered me away from the FAMS major. "

"Grading criteria was vague and unclear, especially the grading styles between the two professors. For the final essay, we were given an example essay, and I used the style and tone in that paper (first person, casual), but I lost points/got a low grade because I used the style of the example essay. To summarize: Grading criteria was extremely unclear and even misleading."
