"Professor Sinos is a very sweet person, but her teaching methodology did not work well for me. Lectures are mainly just her reading from the textbook, and exams are not at all similar to the homework. The fact that the class attempts to cover essentially the entirety of ancient greek grammar in one semester means that it is almost impossible to retain much of the information, since it is mentioned once and not again. The professor was, however, reasonably available for office hours. Homework, which consisted of translating short passages from greek to english or vice-versa, was assigned after every class and took maybe ninety minutes each time."
